Thank You For Your Support!

Yocha Dehe Donates $100,000!
A few months ago, the Care Services team facilitated a grant from the Yocha Dehe grant program asking for $10,000 for Care Services support. Right before Thanksgiving, the check arrived with a note sharing that not only was the original request approved, but they provided additional funding for 10 OBI devices bringing the grand total to $100,000! Thank you Yocha Dehe for supplying The ALS Association with additional resources to support those living right here in Northern California.

Kelly Foundation Cares for our Caregivers
A few months ago, the Kelly Foundation awarded The ALS Association $10,000 for our Caring for Caregivers program. We are grateful that our partners in the community gives towards our caregivers who give so much of themselves every single day. Thank you Kelly Foundation!

Young Ladies Institute Raises Awareness and Funds for ALS
Young Ladies Institute (YLI) pictured above
The Young Ladies Institute’s Grand President, Terri Ward, selected ALS for this year’s awareness program which is titled, “YLI Challenges ALS.” The YLI is raising awareness amongst their members through educational presentations by The ALS Association during their monthly meetings and in their community through fundraisers. The YLI chapter at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church held a bake sale to raise money for ALS, and they hosted an informal ALS Walk. Between the two fundraisers, they raised over $1,000 for ALS. Thank you YLI!

If you are interested in hosting a fundraiser in your community, please email Stephanie Cardenas for more information.
